What data we process
When you create or use an account, we process account data such as your first name, last name, e-mail address, password security state, verification state, optional two-factor authentication state, account status, timestamps, and abuse-prevention records.
Why we process it
We use this data to create and secure accounts, provide access to existence.app, operate the service, support MVP testing, prevent spam or abuse, and send required account, security, service and operational messages.
Required account, security, service and operational messages
Required messages may still be sent regardless of your Marketing opt-in. These may include important updates about your account, access, security, privacy, service availability, abuse prevention, and changes to functionality that affect your use of existence.app.
Marketing opt-in
Marketing opt-in is separate, optional, and off by default. It covers non-essential marketing communications, such as product news, feature announcements that are not necessary for current account use, invitations, commercial updates, paid-offering messages, and promotional messages about existence.app.
Where data is stored
Account data is stored in the server-owned auth state used by existence.app. Data may be processed by the hosting provider and e-mail delivery infrastructure used to run the service.
Who receives data
We do not sell personal data. We only use account data for the purposes described here and with service providers needed to host, secure, operate, and send e-mail for existence.app.
How long data is kept
Account data is kept for as long as needed to provide the account, operate the service, support security and abuse-prevention needs, or meet legitimate operational requirements. Deleted or blocked account records may be retained where needed for abuse prevention.
Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your account data by contacting us. Marketing opt-in is optional and is not required to create an account.
