What data we process
When you create or use an account, we process your name, email address, password-security state, verification state, optional two-factor-authentication state, account status, timestamps and abuse-prevention records.
Why we process it
We use this data to create and secure accounts, provide access to existence.app, operate and test the service, prevent spam or abuse, and send required account, security, service and operational messages.
Required account, security, service and operational messages
Required messages may be sent even when you have not chosen marketing messages. These may include important updates about your account, access, security, privacy, service availability, abuse prevention and functionality that affects your use of existence.app.
Marketing messages
Marketing messages are separate, optional and off by default. They cover non-essential messages such as product news, optional feature announcements, invitations, commercial updates, paid-offering messages and promotions about existence.app.
Where data is stored
Account data is stored in the server-owned account state used by existence.app. The hosting provider and email-delivery infrastructure used to run the service may process data.
Who receives data
We do not sell personal data. We use account data only for the purposes described here and with service providers needed to host, secure and operate existence.app and send email.
How long we keep data
We keep account data for as long as needed to provide the account, operate the service, support security and prevent abuse, or meet legitimate operational requirements. Deleted or blocked account records may be kept where needed to prevent abuse.
Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of or deletion of your account data by contacting us. Marketing messages are optional and are not required to create an account.
